Your first day in Reims should be dedicated to the visit of our "musts" such as the four monuments listed as World Heritage by UNESCO : the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Tau Palace, the Saint-Remi Basilica and the Saint-Remi Museum, the latter named after the bishop who baptized Clovis. Later, you will discover the secrets of the making of the king of wines, and get a taste of it, in one of the many Champagne Houses of Reims. Back to the city centre, you may wish to relax in one of the many "cafés" or enjoy our local gastronomy. You will have much to choose from to entertain yourselves in the evening. For example, in summer, you can attend one of the 100 concerts offered to you during the "Flâneries Musicales d'Eté" (Summer Promenade Festival). The next day, you may want to drive around the Champagne Tourist Road or continue to see the sights of Reims and discover its history from the Gallo-roman period to the present day.
